Meintjes overtook his minute man to finish in 12:30, first finisher of the day. No idea if it's actually any good, but it seems OK.

The first real comparison will probably be Adam Yates in about 10 minutes or so.

Meintjes sets a time of 12m30s
Looks very solid to me. A high early mark.

There should be some stunning aerial shots of riders scattered on the switchbacks. Looking forward to.
Does anybody have a link to the earliest live images?

Nice time by Bennett, who I admit I completely forgot about, just 30" down on Meintjes. Suggests to me that Alaphillipe's time will be around Meintjes', probably a bit faster considering the course and their respective Cali performances. Slagter 2nd, 26" down.

How did Yates do at the intermediate during the PV TT?

Very good. 4th place or something like that.

Aight, but still 43s down or something right?

He told skysports.com: "I'm pretty excited about the time trial in the Dauphine. It's a 4km prologue and similar terrain to the one at the Basque Country, so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into that and seeing what I can do.

"I was a little bit sick at the Basque Country but I finished fourth that day, so maybe I can be up there challenging again at the Dauphine.

Yates was not 100% in PV.
