Kruijswijk going to drop a ton of time if he can't keep up with Valverde group. Have to think his climbing going to be impacted, too.
Thats true, if he connects with Valverde he will be ok ;)

Sorry dutch people, this is brutal.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't lose minutes in this stage. Scarponi has to wait now

Kruijswijk will probably have about 2 minutes disadvantage to Nibali and Chaves on the way to Risoul and has to work on the whole flat part. That doesnt look very good.

OK this is exciting, but I really want Kruijswijk to win the Giro in the end. He deserves it.

This is where Kruiswijk loses the giro, i was afraid something like this was gonna happen. If it's true that piti group passed him, didn't see it myself.

Didn't see zaka crash, hope he's ok

Probably when S.K. changed the bike.

There were 3/people visible in front of him right after bike change. But they were so close that he would catch them easily. Seems to be taking enough risks.

Really bad luck for Kruijswijk. With Scarponi now just sitting on up the road and Plaza riding for the Chavez/Nibali group it does not look good for the pink jersey.

Pretty much. If Valverde passed him, he's going to lose lots of time and be almost dead by the time he makes it to the foot of the last climb, so no miracle there either.

Chaves and Nibali will also go in fresher into the last climb because they don't have to be in the wind right now. All kinds of bad for Kruijswijk, I mean, he had it under control and then in a split second it's all in shambles.

This drama is what I love about this sport. Evaluating risks and rewards.

Lol, GPS timing says Kruijswijk is +4:50 and +1:10 on Nibali, then another box popped up saying +6:00 and +2:00 on Nibali
