It is always dangerous to follow good descenders like Nibali when they are pushing. Kruijswijk unfortunately made a mistake in corner.

Yes, you have to listen to what your own bike is telling you and not just follow the wheel of the guy in front.

I don't get people saying 'bad bike handlers.' These are top, top professionals. Of course their bike handling skills are good. Some are better than others, obviously, but compared to us on these boards, no comparison. The conditions, the pressure, the tiredness, the technical descent, visibility...These guys are all going all out, fighting for top spots on the GC. There was always gonna be a chance for some crashes, unfortunate as it is, but simply saying 'bike handling skills need improvement,' is rubbish.

For Kruijswijk yes, he just got it slightly wrong once. Zakarin seems to have a serious problem staying upright though - he already crashed twice in the TT on stage 9, including on the last corner where he fell at pretty low speed. When it's wet, making sure your centre of gravity is over the tyre and avoiding road markings which may be slippier than the tarmac are really basic things. He wasn't looking at the road at all when he crashed.

Top pros are top pros because of their ability to put out watts and win races - there's not necessarily any correlation between that and handling ability.

Best scenario would probably if Nibali doesnt loose any time today and SK is about 1 minute behind Chaves in gc. Then stage 20 could become legendary.

I'll smash my TV to pieces if a Skybot wins this stage due to wheelsucking train

Why should they pull?

They won't win though. Nibali or Chaves.

No surprise Kruijswijk doesn't loose time right now. He is ofc setting a high pace while Scarponi is still only a domestique. But SK will probably loose time as soon as Nibali and Chaves go to the front

Majka almost looks embarrassed taking a pull he flicks the elbow out as soon as TV footage switches to them. Never change Majka
