Appalling ride by Chavez, not a third week man for sure.

Nibali crying...ashamed to win like that?
Why should he be ashamed. Did he do anything shameful?

It's emotional because of how he's performed and come back from adversity and also the young kid in his youth cycling team on Sicily who died ahead of the Chianti ITT. He will probably dedicate this victory to that kid.

Chavez about 50s ahead of Nibali going into final stage.

chavez looked really cooked today. Tomorrow.. not sure if he can hold Nibali tomorrow if Nibali rode like today. Kruisjwick still has to deal with this injury.. don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow. Just too bad he crashed.

Great ride from Nibali, what a champion he is.
Bad day for Movistar, bad day for Valverde.
Shame for SK.
Chaves will have his most important stage of his life tommorow.

Kruijswijk only slightly more than 1 minute behind. It's still possible.

I feel sorry for SK but you have to stay on the bike.....overcooked the corner and paid the price.

Kruijswijk, if he has the form he's had previously in the mountains, can destroy them tomorrow. But Nibali has regained some oomph and will risk it all to win this race. And don't forget about Chaves... MAN WHAT A RACE THIS GIRO HAS BEEN. After an epic cobbled season, we are also spoiled with a FANTASTIC Giro, like WTF

It's a big "if" considering he'll be riding injured and all the matches he burned today.
