Cunego missed the break
Ideal for him at the moment - a teammate up front - and if they just soft-pedal all the way up he can nick the remaining points for very little effort to keep the jersey

If they softpedal the col like this and Bisolti stops pulling he might even try to bridge.

Okay. 7 minutes now instead of 5 1/2 minutes! :(

Not big time gaps between the favorites I believe. Sprint with a small group and Valv wins.

All I hope for is the break isn't allowed and we get a exciting finale between the favourites, the outsiders and the likes of Ulissi. It always make me feel that the riders doesn't care enough about stage honour when a break takes such a stage as today, much like the two first MTFs last year when Astana really missed the ball. Landa could have won 5 stages that Giro, easily.

With a break of Bisolti, Kolobnev and Zhupa, it seems like you'll have your wish fulfilled. :)

I guess you can't have anything, but I would've like a stronger break so the peloton at least needed to make an effort, but yes. :p
