Matteo Pelucchi and Larry Warbasse were apparently non-starters today. Pelucchi because of yesterday's time limit (a question of time, really, no way he was gonna make it to the end) and Warbasse because of back pain.
Was Pelucchi ill? I've noticed he's always a contender for red lanterns but still, he was a lot of time behind on the bus and I think Brändle would have "saved" him if it was worth it.

Haven't read anything about illness. He's always been an abysmal climber, and this season he's been worse than ever. Don't know why IAM didn't send him to Picardie or something instead. This was always going to be too tough in his current shape.

No actual Danish report either. Just speculation from what they (we) saw.
They were noticing that the doctors seemed to be very careful not to move him around too much, and that he later seemingly was told not to move his legs around.
But of course it might have been a case of initially being very careful, until they found out that there weren't any serious injuries.

Not looking good for J. Moreno. :(

Danish commentators were talking about potential injuries to his spine...

Eurosport confirmed it was a just broken collarbone, but had been tied down on a stretcher as a precaution.

When I was small I got the VIP treatment from paramedics when I said my back hurt after crashing while skiing. It just hurt like everything else on my body- achy-, but I didn't realize the kind of panic/precautions saying "my back hurts" would cause.

Yep, scary watching, particularly with one road shoe lying a couple of meters away.
