So is that a mistake? If they burned off a few rider they may have gotten closer to the lead. I bet they will be attacking like crazy to get the leader's jersey and a new contract.

If they win and he's the strongest rider, it would be nice to get him first across the line but I think they will want Sanchez across the line first because it's the Vuelta.
