Kreuziger's results here: 4th (2011), 5th (2015), 7th (2014,2016)...always there, always looking strong, but no podium for him. I hope he will win this one day

That Albasini/Réza thing was settled by the riders themselves the day after. But some people need to stir this up years after again and again. Get a life.

Doesn't change the fact that he is a d***. Only a racist makes those statements.

Like i said, Valverde isn't good in these kind of conditions.

Great winner. Finally a Dutch rider who wins a monument! And i was almost right about my prediction, with Costa 2nd and Sammy 1st ;)

Poels at 40/1!!!!!!!!!

How much did you put on him? Congrats :)

Just the £2, lost £5 on Valverde but still £75 profit so I'm happy. Was just a little hunch when I spotted Kwiat on the front. Poels was always around the top 10 looking comfortable.

On the other hand, Costa was 4th last year and 3rd today.

Most. Boring. Race. Ever.

Didn't think it was possible to out-do AGR in that case, but apparently it is.

Not as bad as 2014.

At least Gerrans didn't win.

Germany announced to host the start of the Tour de France, a French AND a Dutch monument victory this season to end the droughts.

I'm looking to see if a plague of locusts is on the horizon.

No Quickstep or Movistar in the top 10 :)

Serves them right.

Pretty sad that Bananito was worked out a bit too early.

He surely would have atatcked on the final climb.

it is no so good, but he is good as well. But yes, he is on the shape of hi life as he said and Albasini is stronger in this condiitions.

Anyway everybody is going to follow Valverde if he attacks, so it is not easy for him...

He was 6th today. I believe he won the sprint from what was left of the main bunch ...

yes applaud riders like Mollema, Bardet, Kreuziger and Rodriguez who should've been attacking Etixx and Movistar during the last 30 kms for doing absolutely nothing. Applaud defensive riding and the waiting game. Congretulate them on their hard fought top 10 place that is completely irrevelant

5 consecutive debut victories in the monuments (Nibali-Demare-Sagan-Hayman-Poels). Most since 2004-05 (Freire-Wesseman-Backstedt-Rebellin-Cunego-Petacchi-Boonen).

I had him at 50/1, but I also had Albasini at 80/1. And actually I had Sanchez at 66/1 also :D

I had Poels at 40/1, Albasini 201/1, Sanchez 101/1, Zakarin 50/1, Gasparotto 151/1. I was hoping for an Albasini win as the payout would have been better but will take it. Looks like a lot of people were on Poels. Good to have it over the bookies!

When they have multiple possible winners and do nothing in a race, riding conservetively as possible to get precious WT points, it really serves them right when they are not even in the top 10.
