Movistar does it always and you know it. They also tend to ruin the race so piti can get a podium.

Hey you can like the team, idc but don't be in denial. I don't see you as such a man.
So my manhood comes into question now that I support and team and you don't? Remember the crosswinds in 2013?

Contador could have lost his Tour after a stupid mistake like in 2014, he was lucky he didn't. No you are sitting here ****** Movistar like crazy for no reason. Get a grip.

Movistar was making moves to ride cause Contador crashed. Just admit, they love doing it.

N, they don't love that, and they're not doing it. In fact I remember couple of cases when others do that to them, like in Vuelta 2012, or Tour 2013. If they wanted to ride today, nobody would stop them, including freaking Cancellara!

Look on the previous page at the graphic I posted. The peloton definitely increased its pace after Contador's crash, and movistar was at the head of the peloton at the time

Time will be neutralised but if not would have no effect on overall winners as Chris and Nairo finished on same time

Why are we even talking about Movistar? They didn't ride today when AC crashed.

Normally I don't like this neutralization business, but it's a good thing Alberto is going to Trek next year - thanks Fabian :p

They also slowed down right before his crash and returned to the same speed. The answer is in the graph.

UGH, the TdF puts all thread into clinic mode.

Great win for Cav and DD!
Hopefully AC's injuries don't affect his shot at the GC!

Updated Bike Handling Power Rankings Amongst GC Riders

Tier 1: Nibali, Valverde, Bardet
Tier 2: Froome, Quintana, Aru, Porte, Pinot, etc
Tier 3: Contador, Zakarin

Is Porte really a Tier 2? His crash in 2015 P-N made him a Tier 3 in my book.

On his day, he can compete with the very best in Tier 1 but he's prone to having a bad day.

(If it was Rowe crashing with Bookwalter and Contador)

I saw him riding up with bottles in his jersey shortly after. Very dedicated domestique :D

Finally, Cav gets his yellow jersey (and his only chance this year). He might not have been the strongest, but he played his cards well

Am I alone in thinking today's stage was as poor a GT stage there's been for years.

It didn't make for good viewing.

Anyone know why Rohan Dennis lost 3 minutes?

Dennis's loss of time seems less of a mystery than that by a few riders who might yet be called upon as Plan B by their team: Fuglsang, Poels, Ion Izagirre and Majka.

Come on now, those guys would be plan C-D at best. Tinkoff's plan B is stage-hunting like in 2014.
It made sense to keep those riders away from potential crashes, etc
