That piss has screwed up so many riders races. Yates had got 2 minutes on Barguil in pursuit of young riders classification. The peleton still had a chance of winning the stage and bonus seconds would been distributed to the winner. It has messed the day up as a viewing spectacle also. All because Froome went for a bloody piss cos his team mates had crashed.

What makes me angry is that at the end froome is the one who profited most of the crash of his teammate. Stannard may be hurt but as soon as the flat stops he instead gets his two best mountain domestiques back. Movistar seriously just should have attacked as soon as froome went back.

It damaged what was shaping up to be a great stage. It undid about 50 km of peloton-smashing work by Etixx. It allowed Sky train domestiques to come back. It allowed fringe GC riders who had been dropped in the wind to get back.

If fans aren't going to resent that, what are they going to resent?

I think they would've keep going eventhough Cancellara asked them to stop. I think the reason why peloton stopped was Froome pissing.

Because of Gerrans crashing you mean,

the teams could've carried on riding when Froome tried to calm it.
