I'd like to see Astana, Movistar and BMC team up today and destroy Sky train. But we know this isn't going to happen but it would be fun to see it.
How are they gonna destroy the Sky train? The Sky train would probably just welcome a break from doing all the pulling.

Well it's definitely not easy to figure something out but if they could drop Stannard and Rowe on cat 3 by setting high enough tempo, try to attack and get someone up the road with helpers and make Sky climbers chase on the flat. Possibility of something like this happening is probably extremely small but seems to be the best way to attack Sky in my opinion.

This sucks. The most interesting part of the race except last 10 kms is going on always right after the start.
I wonder why we can't have live pictures, no TV broadcast, no on-line coverage.

So who is going to be sent up the road that is a threat on GC

Just wondering is the fear that Quintana, Porte will fail hence the reluctancy to use these both?
Maybe they are waiting as long as they can before playing this card.

And thats why nothing is happening except you are Bardet & Aru ???

We can only hope for Astana, and we all know that Movistar will wheelsuck till the end.

This happens if there is no Contador and Nibali.

I think they are waiting because they can use this tactic only once because it can result in time losses for riders sent into breakaway. If they lose time (more than 1-2 min) they can't use same tactic anymore.

they could at least try (can be even 5 teams) - send 2 mountain doms per team into the break, wait 2 km into Forclaz where their leaders will join them after brutal sprint at the start of Forclaz... and Vroom has to decide, whether rely on the train (and risk not catching them) or go with Quintana/Porte/Aru/Mollema/Yates (whoever dares), and be subject of attacks all the way up

but in reality they will look at each other and try to protect (Bauke/Adam) or conquer (Nairo/Aru) the podium... they've already given up Yellow and if it was like the Green Jersey (only winner counts), they would be probably out like Cav

51k for the 1st hour, no break.. i bet Cav's happy he went home

This is a good signas SKY must be controlling and therefore

1.Other GC teams are trying
2. SKY may be getting tired (hoping so anyway)

Nope, there have been loads of attempted breaks that have been pulled back by teams with no guy in the break. No sign Sky are doing any work yet.

Is there a live feed from inside the peloton during the stages? The Go-Pro-type of feed, but live, not after-the-fact.

Interesting break with some very good climbers. Could end up Pantano v Majka part deux.

There are better climbers than Pantano in the break. He only got back because of a downhill. Dont think he will contest in this stage
