I think only a couple of riders in the break have a chance of staying ahead. Majka and Zakarin spring to mind. GC boys will come close, or even take the stage - depends on the interest of Movistar and Astana.

OK, the world is consistent... I was asking myself how come TommyV did not go for the TV time in the pointless break...

Interesting how little likes of BMC, Astana and Movi have done This TDF in terms of trying to chase for a stage win.

Nobody from the GC guys cares about a stage win these days :(
Hopefully Zakarin will get this one at least.

Yep. I personally never thought the Finhaut-Emosson warranted an HC rating. Maybe it's because the stage isn't that tough overall on paper, the climbs leading up to it helping diminish it's true value as a defining climb.

9 minutes now. The break will win for sure today. Froome has his stage victory and no need to open up for the time bonuses. Besides he can still get another one later on. It's up to other teams, but I'm sure they'd rather focus on the podium or 5th place in GC.

Unless Movi or Astana take over, it will be more then 10 minutes for the break when they hit the Forclaz, in which case it would be gg breakaway, Majka vs Zaka vs Panta

Some of the teams in this tdf are a joke, I am so close to turning this borefest off  How can Astana & Movistar let another stage just go to the breakaway....I want to see the GC contenders have a real go for stage honours, can't blame Sky for not chasing as all they need to do is protect their lead.

Why can't Movistar or Astana go full blast (Destroy the peloton) from the start and see the lay of the land...It may fail but at least they could try!!!
