Sky doms perfectly rested. Snoozefest coming up!

Other GC teams seem to be happy to let Sky do their thing. So it always plays into their hands. It's gonna be one of those calculated efforts where doms drop exactly where they need to and attrition just builds. Biggest interest is seeing who is weaker among the top 10. I think this is where the surprises (Mollema, Yates, Valverde to the extent that he should be spending energy for Nairo) might be found out, or prove themselves.

Froome unlikely to attack today with no stage win up for grabs, he'll save himself for the stage win tomorrow

Did you know it's the 230th anniversary of the first recorded ascent of Mont Blanc?
Tributary stages this week.

So basically they're trying to go as slow as an alpinist on foot?
We already saw that last week in Mont Ventoux :D

If Sky is stronger than Astana, Movistar, and BMC combined they deserve to control the race.

That is what we're seeing...

Mollema asked if he is gonna attack Froome today: "it depends on my legs and his legs". Translation: " No."

If they are going slow etc, how come they are over 20 minutes ahead of the fastest time on the Horaire?

Is it just a massive tailwind?

The start was crazy fast but since the current group went up the road they have been going slow
