It's a rainy descent. Bit of a crapshoot. Froome and Nibs didn't suddenly forget how to descend. Bardet though. Sees everyone around him in GC dropping and goes. Inb4 the Bardet stage win.

It's amazing how much this Tour has revealed about Froome. Imagine saying this a couple of months ago.

IIRC some people were saying it - It just was fashionable then to descibe him as 'Crash Froome' and 'Like a Robot Pushing a shopping trolley'

Now suddenly he is the best technical rider in the peoloton apparently...

No, he is just a very good descender (as is Bardet who just nearly crashed)

Meh nvm, everything seems to be getting back together before the final climb. So it might be boring after all. Just hope Bardet keeps enough of a gap to force everyone who wants to win today to really go for it. Not to mention a lot of people need to defend their podium or top 5 position.

Reminds me of years ago when Ullrich had a mechanical at the bottom of the final climb. Don't remember which.

As a fan I obviously hated it, but watching him race up the climb passing riders left and right was a thing of beauty.
