If only Stuyven had one other decent rider with him...

The time split at the top of the screen killed me! Showed one minute split...I was like, Stuyven got this..then the peloton is 5 seconds back in the video!

These frogs need to get their cloacas together. Or something.

The split is for the Yellow Jersey Cavendish

So who wins the Tour, Froome or Quintana?

On the evidence of today, Quintana.

Love to understand that logic but am guessing you are joking. No conclusions from that except know that AC's tour is over.

Kruezinger blasting up the climb while Contador was getting dropped. New Saxo leader?

He was just leading Peter... Contador would have lost time regardless.

True. Would not want to be Conta facing the wrath of that russian banker dude tonight.

FWIW, Porte was the 3rd placed BMC rider. There's not much that could be done, they used up all their guys in the chase other than GVA and TJVG. Just awful luck.

Wow, the overhead shot really shows how Sagan toyed with Allaphillipe. Chapau
Yeah. After the worlds he became a monster. After the Ronde he became so, so cold on these finishes. Clearly all the pressure was getting to him, before.

I admit I was initially confused by the sudden time split change. But then--like you--I noticed the little yellow jersey icon and realized that it was to a dropped Cav. No idea why all of these posters are getting up in arms over their own misunderstanding.

You were not alone. The confused (or should I say terrible) commentator on german channel ARD also made that mistake, while it was clear that the peloton was much much closer.

Sagan just super today. Great win.

Alaphilippe confirms, just as Bala. Good showing from both guys.

Also good stage by Purito. He had to do his sprint already to move from position 15th to the first place.

Although Contador would've lost time anyway, the way in which his own team upped the pace for the good of Sagan, regardless of what happens to Contador all but confirms his tour is over and his team know that as well. Which is sad, whatever way to look at it.

Froome is 5th overall after 2 flatish stages. How the **** is this possible.
He's always on the front and is incredibly strong.

Anyway, why would it be in any way shocking for a climber to be fifth after a flat stage and a hill top finish?

The misunderstandings not really the point. The point is why did the graphics show such utterlly useless information? We'd all seen Cav get dropped and knew he was going to lose loads of time from that point.

The race was between Stuyven and the peloton. Rididculous not to show that gap.
