Kudos to EBH, it was a Great move for him to switch teams and he is showing some of the potential he showed a few years back!

Nibali :). Beware he is returning to the Nibs who does well early in the year. Il Giro beckons!

He should skip Roubaix and target instead Amstel, with the new parcours and this kind of shape I really think he has a shot to win.

What's the new parcours like?

The final 2 km after the Cauberg. For me it will always be new, the real one is the final in the Cauberg. :p

He was 2nd or 3rd there in the Valkenburg WC.

The real one finishes in Maastricht :)

Not a great day for Etixx. Dan Martin finding himself poorly positioned is not amazing or unusual, and you might think they could spare a rider or two to make damn sure he was at the right end. This is their time of year after all.

Being charitable, I suppose Jungels in the leader’s jersey might have meant split targets for the team.

It’s good to see EBH back though.

EBH could very well be a strong contender for Amstel. I agree that he should drop Paris-Roubaix. He's simply not good at it. Same could be said for Ronde van Vlaanderen, but I think he could improve here.

It's difficult to predict for how long EBH can hold on the top of the pack. When it comes to the Monuments he used to drop down through the bunch..

They might send him simply because he is their best shot at victory. Being world tour, they're going to have to field a team.

Agree. Unfortunately P-R is his #1 goal for the season.

He's also aiming for the Olympics, which initially seemed rather far-fetched, but that goal seems a bit more realistic now.

I'm very happy for EBH.Time to get something from the Classics this year.

We've said this every year. He just can't handle the distance in the classics. In his early years at Sky he also had great shape too going into them.

Glad to see EBH returning to the winning arena & being at the top level - I truly like him and I was afraid of him fading away to oblivion.

EBH has good legs so far this season. I hope that he can be one more player this spring.

He handled the distance pretty well in Valkenburg 2012, he might surprise this year...

EBH from his first 2/3 years is back!

Dumoulin said he was at his limit and said the shape is not so good yet. He doubts he'll be in form in time for Paris Nice
