Lol Mario Costa. I knew it was a mistake. Maybe it was Faria da Costa. Kirby should know :D

Mario's name is Faria da Costa as well. ;)
I know. I was being sarcastic, because once Carlton Kirby referred to Mario as "Faria Costa, brother of Rui Costa". Well technically he wasn't wrong, but on the other hand it doesn' t make sense cause both have "Faria da Costa" in their names.

I'm very happy for EBH.Time to get something from the Classics this year.

We've said this every year. He just can't handle the distance in the classics. In his early years at Sky he also had great shape too going into them.

He handled the distance pretty well in Valkenburg 2012, he might surprise this year...
Richmond?

In Sky he was too light. He's been getting better ever since he left them. Back with his old coach and original training philosophy.

Instead of telling us all the details of happenings within the race why don't you give us something from outside the peloton.... like the day when the number of spectators exceeds the number of riders.... as it ought to mark a big celebration.

I like the idea of this :D Though I must admit that I thought Dumoulin was the new Indurain.

Climbing-wise, Astana duo (Nibali, Fuglsang) and AG2R duo (Pozzovivo, Bardet) seem to be better than the rest in this race. Let's see what will happen.

It is not a question of how many monument EBH wins this spring, just on whether he decides to go for LBL after trebling up in Flanders, Roubaix and San Remo.

Hope DD doesn´t start messing with Eddy´s training and diet to make him into something he is not. Like the Sky idiocy that almost destroyed him. Let him be himself and he will do wonders in the classics. This can get really exciting.

Green Mountain and Nibali going for 2nd victory on it but Pozzovivo has a chance he has looked sharp. Hoping maybe Konrad could peak his head out

If this goes on this year, Jans has to be De Weerts pick for the Worlds, we don't have better :'(

If Boeckmans gets back to his previous level then he and Theuns are better IMO.

Van Genechten has quite a powerful sprint too. Boeckmans in last year's form was nice to see though. Roelandts as a lead out should be set in stone anyway.

What does Sky even do to their sprinters? EBH wins practically nothing, Cav's never been the same since 2012, Chris Sutton went from winning K-B-K to utter obscurity, and now Swift can't get a result to save his life. I wonder if Viviani can keep his form all year, and get some decent results, given he's probably the closest (pure) sprinter to Kittel/Greipel/Cav, based on his season so far.

Well I don't know about the others but EBH wasn't allowed to do any strength-training in the last years, in order to lose weight. His program was also all about threshold intervals with virtually no sprint-training or explosive efforts.

I assume they have a better plan for Viviani, who never was supposed to be anything but a sprinter for them.

There's no need to pick a team for a sprint. They need to find a team that will attack all the time. Everybody has to, because it will be difficult to beat the germans in a sprint. Kristoff might do that after such a long distance.

I read yesterday that Porte prepared some fireworks for the Green Mountain. He might he bluffing, though.
Bardet vs Nibali should be a good battle.
