So...Movistar will put a hard pace since the beginning of the climb, Contador will make an early attack, Quintana goes with him, Froome will be dropped...then "rising from the ashes" with his yoyo tactics, Dawg will put Quintana suffering latter in the climb leaving
Froome can't let Quintana go today. He needs to force Quintana to change his pace throughout the climb, by sticking on his wheel. If he lets Quintana up the road to ride his own steady pace, Froome will lose at least another 30 seconds.

If Contador had the legs he would have went with yates i think, great move from orica
Don't think the peloton would have let him go. Yates is just about low profile enough to be allowed slightly off the leash. Contador would have immediately been marked by Valverde or even Froome himself.

Froome and Quintana considerer Yates at similar level to Contador.
He wast allowed, Movistar started to work with his best rider remaining in the peloton, Castroviejo. The same if Contador attack from far...

There was a time where I thought you were serious, but you're now all out trolling. Shame.

They obviously don't. Yates could gain four minutes today and he still wouldn't win this race. Froome and Quintana know that. They won't give an inch to Contador.

Contador has ideas

Everyone in here too, but that doesn't mean anything
Contador is too quiet so far.
Tinkof has started chasing a bit as well now. Gap to Yates is not one to go unnoticed.

Disappointed in Contador's attitude.

He doesn't have the legs anymore. But also not the daring mentality.

no inmolation from Contador , It was funny to read his fas here in Spain :D

Anyway I hope him and Chaves attacking at 10 from the fiinsh.

But the real battle today is for the 2 biggest riders cycling has seen in the last 30 years, Froome and Quintana.

Come on Taxus, it's like you want an argument..

What do you mean 'like'?

Like "It looks like (you want an argument..)" :D

He understood him perfectly well, but 'like' was not needed, because it doesn't look 'like'. He is looking for an argument obviously :)

Today is a diesel stage, people is tired, no a real yo yo. Froome is stribg from the vegiig, he dot eed to warm up. If Chaves or Contador attack, they will get some seconds, but that is ot no real yo yo.

If quitaa attack form 10 to the lie, Fro0oome will suffer, but he will recover time ad o more tha 30 secods...

Everything is setup for an awesome finale. I can see attacks by Chaves, Contador, Froome, and Nairo.

To my defense, I gave Taxus the benefit of the doubt :D

Yeah to me this looks like they are protecting Contadors placing, instead of sending riders in the break trying to create something for Contador.

Where is Ruben Fernandez? Rojas, Castroviejo and Herrada are with Valverde/Quintana and Moreno seems to be alone
