For Orica it's more or less give up any chance of victory and possibly 2nd place and reserve energy vs keep an eye on victory and catch contador and draw second with them and waste energy

Nooo poor Froomey :(

Oh well this is a real exciting stage though. Only thing the 2nd group has going for them is Contador and Quintana are already working hard with 90kms to go. Though the gap is going out ..

Froome's own fault ultimately, he should have been stuck to Quintana like glue...
