Froome probably just not good enough today, that explains why he doesn't want to take responsibility. When he was riding on the front he didn't look very impressive......

Froome looks like he could lose another 1/2 minutes. I think he'll pull himself together though and maintain the gap

Contador suffering just to stay in the wheels

He did tons of work all day, surely must be cooked

Really hope that he can win the stage.

And it can cap off his eventual podium finish....which he does care about :D

Quintana owes Contador a GT victory, as it stands.

ehm, it's not like Quintana followed Contador's move by himself, had a couple of teammates with him who worked their arses off for 100 k and then lead the entire final climb himself

The only real question left is: Should you start the Mamykin hype thread before or after he wins the stage?
I'm surprised there isn't one already, he merits one above some that do have one. Won the Cervinia MTF at Aosta and podiumed l'Avenir last year, has been strong throughout this Vuelta, still just 21.

Jinx

meanwhile Contador getting dropped

Take it to the Clinic, guys. Them's the rules and Scarponi won that Giro as far as this section is concerned.
Not at all. He got it awarded. That's it!

Contador winning the stage would definitely be the cherry on the cake. Not happening though.
