i expect Froome to win this with around 20-25 seconds on Castroviejo, 1 minute on Contador, 3 minutes on Chaves (should catch him)

This is no 2014 ITT Froome that got dropped on climbs by 10 people

Quintana is a mystery to me, he could win this or lose 3 minutes on Froome
I think you are really overestimating froome's ITT. I expect contador to lose clearly less than a minute and Quintana maybe 1.5 minutes but probably even less.
according to numerous predictions froome had to crack and lose heaps of time on all the key stages starting from cavadonga and ending with camins del penyagolosa, so I wouldn't say vox populi suffers from overestimating his capacities. ;)

Would love to see Froome gain 2 minutes back; if only, to see him (hopefully) launch a Fuente De/Galibrier style attack tomorrow then it can dispel the myth of Froome not attacking from way out.

Its not really a myth, but you can argue he never really has needed to. Even if he needs to and is not gaining monstrous time, I very much doubt it - Movistar should be able to control things unless TInkoff and Sky commit 100% which I can't see happen.

Ben Hermans rode a great TT in Poland and is on fire right now, probably asked to full gas as well for the Team GC.

Ideally, Froome is in red by 15-30 seconds or trails Quintana in GC by 15-20 seconds to make Saturday interesting.

Froome aint gaining 3 minutes on Quintana unless there's a tornado in Spain tomorrow

I suggest you look up ideally.

I don't see who can beat Contador except for Froome and maybe castro although i think Contador is a better ITT than castro.

Froome should be getting cooked and it's the 3rd week and Contador has looked better now.

Remember how people though Contador was gonna lose time to Porte and Uran in the giro? That was only the 2nd week.

While Contador was exceptional that day, lets not forgot that Porte was done at that point and so was Uran to a lesser extent. Can't really compare that to go up against Froome.

Contador was also better than the current World Champion. Of course Contador got unlucky for a second time in a giro ITT with bad weather and lost the ITT.

I'm not biased here, i just don't see who is a better ITT than Contador but Froome in this field especially since it's the 3rd week.

nobody really knows if the course is fast or not, with all the wind

if its a high speed itt, for example over 52km/h than it will favor Froome

if it's around 50km/h than i agree Contador could win

im expecting a win from dark horse. froome is exhausted, castro is fatigued because of everyday work for nairo, bertie is simply not good enough after numerous crashes..

I assume they mean he was best, but not fastest (due to the change in conditions?). And to be fair he was an absolute monster that day, probably his best performance in any stage in the last 2 years for me.

Did you forget the circumstances of that ITT fleur? Come on, i thought you remembered every race of Berto.

The wind changed otherwise he would have won that ITT, he was clearly better than kiry that day

Quintana will lose about 1 min 30 to Froome, Contador will lose 1 min , Chavez 2 min maximum. Remember, Froome does not look 100%, so though he will gain time, his gains will be quite limited. Chavez could be the surprise performance, I think he is still relatively fresh...

Valverde will do a good ITT, but not enough for top 10 in GC. Dark Horse: Campenaerts, Rory Sutherland, JC-Peraud in his last try to break into the top 10.
