OBE taking over in the descent. Wonder what they're trying
Gerrans is working, so maybe Yates for the stage win?
Simon Clarke more likely I think. Imagine what Kirby is thinking right now

Awful stage, no murito in the end. How is there going to be anything worth watching?

Channeling your inner Descender are you?
No, he actually thinks stages like this one are better than Saturday's stage. Fool.

Just tuned it, this looks mighty fine! Valv.Piti or Gilbert ftw!

Nope. Kirby has said Clark.

Clarke might have a chance, I don't know Clark. :p

Also just noticed Lopez abandon. So him, Kruijswijk and Landa, strong outsiders, out of it. GC-field looks slim, 5 top guns and the rest pretty meh.

Fraile once again showing how underrated he is. I cannot believe he was only 4 points on Velogames.
I wouldn't say that he's underrated. He's 26 and has two professional victories. He has some good rides, sure, but he rarely wins. He's been a bit underwhelming this year compared to last year as well.

Freakin' attackers like Fraile are rarely rewarded, so the number of professionnal victories doesn't matter for judge him... For example, a guy like Txurruka is a great rider with big spirit who's got more collarbone fractures than great wins.

Yep, a hurt Chaves, an out-of-juice Contador, the tired Movistar odd coupling, and Froome, who would win it on the back of his time trialing if he could merely hold on in the mountains. Thankfully he's never been one to just hold on in the mountains if he has the strength to attack. Which he might not have.

So our best chance for meaningful attacks might also mean that the race could be settled by Saturday. Maybe Meintjes or Latour will make this interesting?
