Yeah, he needs to attack to have a chance. I think he's destined for 3rd.

He's certainly been staying out of the wind to save energy. Hate the way he's ridden this race.

He did beat Boonen in the sprint here a few years ago. That said, Boonen has rarely been strong in this race so I don't know how much that says. Vanmarcke is so strong, but has no tactical sense whatsoever.
 
It's great to see probabaly the three best riders on cobbles at present fighting out for the win so early in the season.

Never thought that Sagan will be so strong today.

Guess Omloop being in the WT means no more chances for the second stringers to shine.
