Any coverage from French or German television? I really dont want to watch via Eurosport.
Why? You don't want Kirby calling Reichenbach's win? ;)

More realistically...

1. Sagan
2. Stybar
3. GVA
4-10 in no particular order Kwiat, Felline, Brambilla, Aru, Pinot, Vanmarcke, Benoot.

I.... what?
He is taking fanboyism to another level...
Yes I do :p . I might come up with a poem, change my signature ;) : Tibopino we love you :) .

He'll go for a top-10 for sure, he can do it, the very fact that Thibaut attempts the Strade Bianche is a huge step in the right direction IMO. He's good in Italy, his last showing was excellent, Pinot may be getting brown, white, dusty, dirty this week-end and he'll be pink in May...

I believe in this kid, not just because he's my hometown rider. He has the engine.

There's still room in the bandwagon...jump in.

Is the start list finalised yet?

Call me crazy but I can see Nathan Haas doing something here after his impressive performance at TDU and Evans RR

Strange that DD don't have Haas riding in this race - he may be having a break to the Ardennes.

Bora, Movistar, Orica, Sky and Sunweb all sending strong teams.
Movistar doesn't really have a good team since Valverde isn't riding and then they by default doesn't have a good team for this race. Lol. I guess Amador or Oliveira can do fine here, but then you are looking at gregarious Bico and Carretero, Betancur (god bless him) and Alex freaking Dowsett. Bennati could have done relatively well in his prime, maybe.

Interesting to see Thomas will be starting - think this could be a very good race for him if he has any kind of form. He probably climbs better than any of the other puncheurs and perhaps could follow the attacks of the likes of Sagan and GVA. Not sure how he would fare on the Via Santa Catalina though. Is he doing any of the cobbled classics as well this year?

With that roster, QS can tear this race apart.
My personal joker is Petr Vakoc.

Your new favourite race isn't such a bad series, I like the format. 2015 was also a great edition, Valverde was very good that day, but the difference between a super explosive Ardennes/GT-rider as Valverde and then the hellingen specialists was quite apparent right there.

Valverde had cramps, and worked way to much in that race. He would beat that two 8 times out of 10 on that finish. Look previous year, how he destroyed Cancellara, Cunego and Kreuziger on that same finish. But he was much fresher...

The baby monument finally debuts in the WT :)
The route is mostly the same as last year, with 2 new sectors in the first part. Note how they didn't even bother to change the final kms detail that marks the last sectors as 8-9. :D
You have just given the race a proper name. I like it. Baby monument. It certainly is. For me the best race after P-R and RVV and the best example what cycling needs. Route and roads where it is difficult to control the race from beginning to the finish.

I don't see that any team looks particularly stacked. I see a bunch of mostly even-ish teams which should make for some good racing.

Very hard to pick a winner. Sagan/GVA are obvious faves, but there's a pretty long list next to them. Surprised Matthews isn't leading Sunweb.

This is a tough one to handicap and I'm sure I'm leaving a couple guys out but I'll go:

*****Sagan, GVA
****Felline, Benoot, Kwiatkowski, Costa, Stybar
***Hermans, Vanmarcke, Rosa, Vakoc
**Thomas, Stuyven, Wellens, Gatto, Vakoc, Uran
*NIbali, McCarthy, Brambilla, Dumo, Kelderman, Trentin

Here's a race that definitely deserves it's WT status. Sure, it might not have that long a history, but it's managed to become quite prestigious in those few years. The simple fact that all WT teams have elected to race should prove a pretty good indicator to it's worth.
