Is it Spilak or Vicioso who will be Katushas leader? And who do you think will be strongest of Rosa and Landa? This is going to be a very nice race I think!
Spilak of course... Why would Vicioso be the leader of Katusha? Rosa or Landa is hard to predict, I just hope they don't have to work for Thomas (unless he's really the strongest and in contention for the GC), like they did in Andalucia for Poels.

Do you ask all these questions for betting-related reasons (or some fantasy game, I don't know)? Because your posting history only includes questions like this.

Fantasy against friends. I thought Thomas was Skys leader in this race?

Probably, but that doesn't mean that Landa and/or Rosa can't have a free role.

Looks like Landa has the leader's number on his back

That was why I asked about Vicioso and Spilak, becuase I saw that Vicioso had the leaders number. How much does this numbers usually tells about the roles in the team?

Most often, the guy with a "...1" bib number is expected to be the team leader in the GC (or for stage wins, if the team has no GC candidates, but has a first tier sprinter for example). In other words, this is the rider who should deliver the most in terms of team success during the race, so he is the most protected and has the greatest number of helpers in the team roster.

Sometimes, the "...1" number is granted to the rider who is not expected to fight for the win in the race, due to his palmares (e.g. to the reigning world/olympic champion, winner of that race in the past etc.). It is also practiced from time to time that the team grants the "...1" number to the rider during the race which is held in his native country (even if it is clear for everyone that he is not the leader, just to please local fans and race organizers).

Finally, if there is no clear team leader and there are no other special reasons to honour someone with the "...1" number, it happens that the numbers of all the riders simply follow alphabetical order of their names.

Why does Froome never ride these races? From what I can tell he's only done TA once and he's never raced PN. It's a bit odd.
Too skinny for such weather? I mean, there's big risk of getting ill.

Look out for that Rock Star at the left. Hope he recovered well.
What rock star? I see Sagan there, no rock star.
Edit: as usual Sagan can't behave. Only one with sun glasses for photoshoot.

They're outside. The sun is shining. Maybe the sun was getting in his eyes. Several of the other guys also seem to be squinting quite hardly.

Yep, all the other guys are blind. Explained.

Or impossible to get the glasses of for few minutes. It's beginning of March, the sun is blazing!
