This incredibly stupid parcours has turned this race into one of those crappy short stage races where the ITT winner wins the GC and there are a few irrelevant sprint stages. Except instead it's a crappy short stage race where the winner gets to benefit from his team's strength in the TT and the irrelevant sprints are uphill.

What a waste of time.

how come Contador is at 3 minutes at GC on the PCS site?

edit : and Zakarin is before Contador at GC?
Those times are simply not correct. It has the first three Trek riders at 2'15" which should be 1'15" and they clearly didn't finish with 3 or they wouldn't have set a time.

The 4th is Brändle, who lost 10 minutes yesterday. But you are correct about the times.

You're right :)

Valverde still needs to win stage 3 at the very least. And maybe stage 6 and 7 as well.

If Froome is in super-shape he can gain a minute on stage 5.

Sky could also troll Movistar by sending a great marathon rider like Landa in a break.
