Way too early for Wellens.

For Wellens in the dry, yes. But for Belgium, no.

I just don't get why guys like Stuyven and Keukeleire are higher in the hierarchy than Wellens.
They can't attack the hill like Wellens did.

Oh come on. They could've been in this break easily. This is simply suicide.

Polish-French alliance in the chase. They both want a hard race and no-one in the break.

Peloton much smaller :)

Bring no sprinters.
Wait until 60 km to go for serious moves to start making the race hard.
Don't get into said serious moves.

Well done, France.

The most puzzling part for me - and I realize I've criticized the french selection before - is that he says Démare and Bouhanni weren't in top form or motivated for this race. Fine....so why not Coquard?

Gr8 banter m8.

The bunch got smaller. Quality group in front and gap that could be closed in a half lap. Tactical game can start.

Interesting situation.
The breakaway could even enter the final lap in front, with the bunch willing to hold them under a minute.
Italians showing at the head of the bunch, but I doubt they want to close this down.
