I'm sure he didn't get the idea from Valverde. Valverde isn't here. I'm sure Valverde is not even in the mind of Moscon. Perhaps Moscon is remembering the times Chris Froome has mixed in for the sprint.

Valverde's comment insisting that he's not a sprinter was about two years. He had said something about having a better idea of what type of rider he is now than he did when he turned pro. He was then asked what's that and his response was I'm not a sprinter. As of this week, he's obviously changed his mind again.

A shame Valverde isn't here. The strongest and most winning rider this year isn't even giving the (real) classics in a shot.

Today he and Movistar announced he's racing Dwars door Vlaanderen and Flanders is still tentatively on his calander.

That GPS is bollocks. They're closing and they were at 15 sec a minute ago.
Seems reasonable to me. BMC put in a turn and then eased off the front again.

where would Sagan be right now??
1:55 behind, with Colbrelli.

I am surprised he's not in the car already. I guess Bora needs at least on man to finish. I am not sure what they were thinking with this squad. And that being said, Oss wasn't due to start originally.

As far as the winner, I wouldn't count out GvA just yet.
Nothing really wrong with the squad - yes, they miss a couple of guys and Oss was mediocre, but Sagan was weak and rode with his head under his arm. A better team really wouldn't have changed things that much, only would have postponed Sagan getting dropped probably.
actually not, sagan with bigger team could mean, especially today, that he wouldn't chase in to attempts Terpstra and Lampaert. He was few seconds behind them in the second attempt and he went all in. He basically took 20s in no time. He's not as good as 2 years ago, but the form is not that bad.

I know that. His ability to sprint has been talked about on almost every thread in this forum recently. My point was I doubt Moscon was thinking about Valverde. Valverde has nothing to do with this race.

I'm starting to get a great dislike for Van Avermaet. What a selfish rider.

I loved him last year, but yeah this is selfish. That's not being a teammate. Roelandts would reallly have a shot in that sprint.
