Please just DQ Bennett from the results. Disgraceful sprint.

Viviani with a monstorus sprint despite Bennett pulling such a douche move, great stuff.
Honestly, if you sprint like that you can just **** off from the race. See ya next year.
Think thats too drastic - had Elia crashed, it would have been different, but he won so I think the commissaries won't do anything actually.

But that's exactly the point. Viviani very well could have crashed here so by not doing anything the UCI basically says, we won't penalize anyone as long as nobody gets injured. That just encourages sprinters to do the same again

I don't agree with it either, but lets see what they choose. A DQ is definitely at its place and you could easily argue for sending him home as well.

Just want to note how useless Sabatini is. Dropped with 5km to go and is always the one who loses the wheel in the train.
He had a flat, according to Viviani.
That makes it clearer, but to me he still doesn't look like a right leadout man. Morkov is both faster and better at positioning.

The fact that Bennett didn't push viviani totally to the barriers and left a (very small) gap probably means it's just a relegation.

Yep, the outcome shouldn't really be the only factor considered in these incidents. Without really wishing to re-open an old debate, it was at least as dangerous as what Sagan did in the Tour de France last year imo. It was a textbook case of dangerous sprinting.
