Cousin is in serious debt to Politt now... jeez, that was a blatant example of uneven work.

There is tactics and strategy to cycling also...

Politt could have forced Cousin to help more by just not keep on going. Instead of just having him on his wheel getting frustrated.

Second time in three days that DEN wheelsucks to the win, slightly aggrevating tbh...

Particularly because they would have been caught if Politt would have stopped pulling for more than two times two seconds.

The real disappointment is that Pollitt didn't manage to hold off Cousin on the last categorized climb. He would have won a great solo win if he'd managed it.

Cousin didn't need to work because Politt never forced him too. This sport requires you to use your brain, not just your legs.

I hope the involved riders from other teams will learn to stop working with riders from TDE.
First Hivert and now an even more disgraceful performance from Cousin.

Agreed. Politt was insanely strong tho, great ride by both of them.

Then Politt wouldn't have gotten second place.

He had help from Cousin, without it, the bunch would get the win.

Shocking day for Mitchelton Scott - A.Yates caught in the crash in the last 6km of to lose time when well placed in the CC, and unfortunately Chaves crashes into a drunken Katusha rider - It's a tough sport.

I am sure he is really happy about that........

Cycling is not just about being the strongest rider. Being smart is one component also.

This is not figure skating. There are no points for style.

Great start of the season for Direct Énergie!

smart tactics or not, for me it makes Direct Energie and these riders the same way as I felt for it's predecessor and Thomas Voeckler. Dislike. No sympathy

Theatrics and cheap tricks. God I only like Calmejane of that team now
