Politt could have forced Cousin to help more by just not keep on going. Instead of just having him on his wheel getting frustrated.

He had help from Cousin, without it, the bunch would get the win.
 
Shocking day for Mitchelton Scott - A.Yates caught in the crash in the last 6km of to lose time when well placed in the CC, and unfortunately Chaves crashes into a drunken Katusha rider - It's a tough sport.

I am sure he is really happy about that........

Cycling is not just about being the strongest rider. Being smart is one component also.
 
smart tactics or not, for me it makes Direct Energie and these riders the same way as I felt for it's predecessor and Thomas Voeckler. Dislike. No sympathy

Theatrics and cheap tricks. God I only like Calmejane of that team now
