It's baffling that they just let Gilbert get away like this. They must really trust that he's going to burn himself with his attack

Yep, it's inexplicable to let him go. Especially given how he only had a gap of about 5 seconds for ages. There were loads of domestiques there to shut it down. Now Quickstep are in a great position again.
