Great edition.
Slightly above par or par, not more than that IMO.

Sagan proved me wrong, that was a great performance, both with his legs and his head.

Meh, very disappointing final. Dillier should have at least attacked to try to drop Sagan. Sagan rode like a champion tho, have to admit it.

Although I love De Ronde, Paris-Roubaix is just a bit greater.
Both were poor to watch this season. One or two moves and the race is over.

You're doing it wrong if you're watching for the last 40km. The race is made in the 100km before then and while this year there weren't any huge moments it was a very interesting tactical affair.

Good win.

Great race. Great win by Sagan. Great performance by Dillier and smart by cooperating with Sagan for his second place.

The true epic ride was by GVA who conserved his energy to unleash a monster sprint and take 4th place.
He's been terrible this spring. Probably his legs aren't there, but he's looked even worse than all those years when he used to spend loads of energy only to finish 2nd or 3rd. This year he's ridden conservatively and still never looked close to winning a race.

Imho all 3 monuments were a bit "meh" this year, all were saved though by great riders making great moves.
Nibali, Terpstra, Sagan.

Was it? It was a great move by Sagan, clearly he's studied the passivity of the other favourites and thought the gamble worth while. But other than that, there weren't many great tactics on show. Even Dillier didn't attempt to create problems in the last 10km.

I doubt there's much he could have done.

still don't get why QS didn't jump on the wheel when Sagan went.

by the way they all reacted when Debusschere tried twice and when Sagan goes no one reacts

Phinney in 8th. Hopefully it's a sign that he's finally getting his pre-injury form back.

Yeah. Three very worthy winners who gambled and got well rewarded. But three poor races for a neutral.

Anyone disappointed in Dillier's ride should probably watch another sport instead.

Was not a hard decision. No one looks real dead on the piste like often used to be the case.
