Zakarin will win this bike race. Next Giro to start in Moscow.

I don't think that he will be in GC contention after today's stage. He is too inconsistent as others have repeatedly pointed out and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he drops a lot of time today.

Trek already trying to split the peloton. Two guys from Bora and Katusha in the break with 40 sec.
They don't want to let the break go.

Yates going, Roglic following and i can’t see any Jumbo teammates to support him.

Carapaz joins them. GC group down to about 15 already.

Man the Jumbo team is worse than Tom D's team. I don't even see why Roglic is covering the Yates attack, he is not a direct threat. He should just let lo squalo cover it.

Roglic should just let Yates go and let Movistar, Astana and Bahrain deal with him. It's a crazy tactic to try to follow his antics.

Also Lo squolo is trying do a Froome with a 115km solo attack.
Edit: sorry it was Caruso.

Roglic excited the bunch by chasing Yates.

I don't think that was a wise move.

And he lost all the teammates in like 10 minutes.

I missed the initial attack but wasn't he covering Landa? That would make more sense to me.

Landa was on Roglic wheel I think?

Yates went again with no Landa and he covered it as well.

The mountain part of the team is totally useless... Tolhoek and Kuss are nowhere near the form of last year... they might get back on the descent and flat if the pace slows down a bit... but they will just get dropped the instant the pace rises a bit... garbage...

Landa was on Roglic wheel I think?

Carapaz was the man he chased down or amador.
