Yates started too quickly, as RAI commentators where saying, or probably Nibali paced himself as usual.
Was quite worried for a while there...

Nibali should be better than yates on such a climb. Irregular which will help yates, but also mostly a power climb which will not. Perfect Dumoulin climb, but unfortunately he is not here.

That graphic showed Roglic had 30” on Yates so maybe Roglic not crushing everyone as expected? Will know more when we see his intermediate

Finnish Eurosport commentator said that Movistar will still be pushing for Landa. I have to agree. Landa will be better in the coming weeks. Everybody knows that he has not got the TT legs.
