It's because the race database for the site uses all the original stage lengths. Should be fixed now.

He looks very strong. When the race gets to the final flat 8 km., it will be Dennis vs. Bernal.

Bernal is about half the size of Dennis. Riding in that slipstream the rest of the way will be like drafting behind a horse.

Apparently they had the same stage in 2005, everyone wanted a slow start but some non climber decided to sprint away as soon as the race started and then abandoned the race after just 2km

Great stage by Dennis, I didn't expect him to be able to drop everyone except Bernal today.

This was a beautiful and well-designed stage. Could be a candidate for a Tour stage.
