BBC seems to have finally gone to live pictures. Meanwhile the "home of cycling" is showing superbikes and snooker today

I've been watching online from the start. Absolutely shocking the ES aren't showing the race live. 'Home of cycling' = Fake news. :D

I'm guessing UCI sells the world championships as a stand alone event, outside of the world tour calendar, and that ES does not have the rights for it.

Depends on the territory. ES player I think is broadcasting it everywhere they have the rights even in not on their TV channels.

ES have the TV rights for some countries, even if they don't actually show them.

Fortunately the UCI have a live stream on Youtube for places where no broadcaster has the rights - which is odd as in Australia, SBS have the rights, and Live coverage has yet to start, but UCI has been live on all races so far.

Can't help but think Australia is doing too much work early

I agree, though the question is who should do the work? If I were Australia et al, I would let Belgium take the lead. Save Dennis for a late push if needed.

Break losing a time now.

I'd have saved Dennis for the last 100k but they somebody has to do the work. 4 minutes+ is still a good gap.
