In Denmark there's a seven woman group out front; Uttrup, Mathiesen, Leth, Norsgaard, and some local riders. Dideriksen has caught the peloton which is around 3 min behind.

So... is the race still on? Coz I think I'm watching it live - with 6 Ks to go - but Astana's reporting that Sanchez won...?

(I suspect my Player may have been lagging wildly. My focus was mostly on the Danish race.)

He couldn't change gears after the climb, why do you think Sanchez was able to catch up with him in a heart beat?

Because he f****d up his timing in usual Cofidis fashion? Herrada attacked too early and ran out of steam in the final; he should have let Barcelo ride in front for a km or so more and attack then. The mechanical cost him the 2nd place, but the win was gone anyway.

Please just rewatch the last three kilometers and look at the ridiculous high cadence Herrada has to ride with, even in a downhill, instead of this abomination.
