Great day for Italians. The two fastest, 3 in top10, 7 in top 20... Almost feels like the Giro of the early 00s. With the difference that today the international competition is way stronger than at that time.

I've always cringed a little bit at people calling their idols by their first name, but here Wiggo can't not call him Vincenzo
 
It is his first GT. He most likely will help out Bennet, but it will be very interesting to see what he can do. Clearly in great shape. He could definitely be a surprise.
He's improved tremendously in TT'ing since joining TJV. As a climber he's never convinded me. Not in the U23, not in the past seasons at TJV. If Bennett doesn't have it, it'll be interesting to see if Foss can step up though.

RE and VN with good rides considering RE has been out of racing for a year and VN just had surgery (granted the TT bike might be easier on his wrist than his road rig, but the disruption in prep wasn't good).

TvG was within a half a minute...just saying!
