Ouch. Almeida on the offense.
If that should have been the case, that Evenepoel just had an off-day, I could even understand Almeida. He didn't get any help on his off-day... so if it was not a specific problem with the gravel (although it looked like one to me), it's quite tough to still support Evenepoel and giving up Almeida completely.

I don't know. Is Quick Step interested in a low rank top-10?

Remco right now has the chance to fight for a podium. If he cracks, I think Quick Step rather wants to Almeida to be some time away and go for stage wins rather than a 8th or 9th place no one cares about.
