Its over unless Nizzolo fancies waging total war for intermediates and even if he does Sagan is very much more likely to win out.

Very nice pictures, yes. I also liked that Nizzolo didn't start celebrating until he crossed the line, shows that he was focused on what's most important.

You are right. That climb is harder than I thought. Actually harder than the ones on stage 18 tbh. But it all depends on how hard it is raced.

Would've been nice for Affini as well.

But that probably was the strongest sprint of Nizzolo's entire career. It couldn't have been further away from the "everlasting 2nd, born loser" tag that was looming around his name so far. Because if he doesn't take the risk to open up a long sprint, Affini obviously gets away with the stage win. Both strength and tactical sense to perfectly use slipstream.

Strong sprint. Well deserved.
