Ponomar He doesn't seem to be in any trouble in this race, hopefully he doesn't overestimate himself.

I have so many favourites here, but I was just thinking that it would be so cool if Caruso could reach the podium in the end, after all the bad luck that Bahrain has already had. And he's a steady guy and not bad in bad weather, is he?

I'm guessing Bennett or the two Trek guys. Bennett is a danger though if he took 5/6 mins today.

Group size ain't too bad with the second group brought back.

There was no one in that second group who was dangerous (unless Bernal wants to win the mountain jersey) so guessing it's just they want to keep the group size manageable

Maybe they are just comfortable with Bennet and Trek in a small group where they need to work a lot but didn't want to allow a bigger pack to form that might give easier rides and get bigger time
