It would indeed. No one at the age of 18 has ever won a GT stage. Only 3 riders under 20 years of age has won one (or more, as is the case with Henri Cornet who in 1904 won 2 Tour stages before his 20th birthday, although he was only rewarded them later after the infamous disqualifications that year), the youngest being Fabio Battesini who won a Tour stage in 1931 at the of 19 years, 4 months and 13 days if my math isn't off. Olimpio Bizzi is the last rider to have won a GT stage before the age of 20, which he did in the 1936 Giro.I'd love if he won the stage. An 18 year old winning a stage in a GT would be incredible.
At least this is what my, admittedly, very quick research tells me.
