The climbs today aren't that tough.
The sprinters are dropping 'cause of the tempo.

They might've been able to follow on July form.

Yeah, it’s Bora’s effort rather than something inherent to the parcours.

Not sure that Ewan would be hanging around any longer in Tour form. Last year he was arguably the worst climber in the race. The guy seems to have two modes: trained for hills, in which case he is very good on smaller climbs, and trained for big bunch sprints, in which case he climbs like a brick.

Ewan on longer climbs harder than Poggio is not a good cocktail.

Poggio is less than 4% after all. On longer 5-6% hills/medium moutains, he gets dropped like a stone.

RAI reports Moschetti has been dropped too. Viviani is still there but clearly suffering.
