Somehow lost a good 90 seconds plus to Taaramae and Hermans though according to the GPS on this flat to rolling terrain

According to Cassani (who is on a Motobike) Remco starts every descent in 10th position and finishes it in 70th position, he seems to be really careful on the descents.

True, but he looks like he's going hard enough that you wouldn't be expecting him to be losing that much time. I think Ineos or others should bring back some of this time though. Get it down to sub 5 by end of the stage imo

That’s totally understandable and pleasing that he isn’t pushing it to hold position so far out in the stage when the group is so big still.
