Italy vs Belgium vs Switzerland. Those 3 nations will probably place 6, maybe even 7 riders inside the top 10 tomorrow.

  3. Evenepoel

Training for track worlds not the perfect prep for ganna otherwise he'd be my favourite.

So Benjamin Thomas will be caught by Bjerg and then those two will be caught by Bissegger and then those three will be caught by Evenepoel.

I don't know if this belongs here or not, but former Danish cyclist and current cycling commentator Chris Anker Sørensen had passed away after being hit by a car during a training/reckon ride in Belgium :-(
Terrible, terrible news.

Would surely think he prioritised track for the Olympics but will have put the Road Worlds above the Track Worlds given their relative prestige and profile.

Odd looking timesheet - fully stacked from 48 to 43 with great TT riders who will all occupy the hot seat for a long time if they win that block yet then a 30+ series of riders unlikely to get near the top 10 overall.

Is it purely down to logistics putting big gaps between the riders whose country have two entries with their being only one team car to cover both riders.

Sobrero will start 2nd, probably the first bench mark, then you have Walscheid before one of the Remco-Affini-Bissegger group will probably take the hot seat for a long time.
Will the wind be the same for the whole duration of the TT?
