Not sure he's really explosive. He is a pit bull on climbs, though. Relentless.

I'm not really sure if the differences between the GC guys are only caused by explosiveness. It's also about positioning. Carapaz for example was close to the front the whole time.

I think some of the guys were mostly concerned about avoiding crashes and not losing time (e.g., Yates).
