No Bardet, no party! A real shame.

A bit of pressure on Arensman now, but a top 10 might be doable. A stage win is not impossible either, if he drops out of the GC.

There's something weird about this race. At this rate we're going to get a repeat of 2012 with Carapaz letting some supposedly unthreatening guy take too much time while someone else De Gendts their way onto the podium.

It's strange to see how quickly teams without a stage win yet give up the stage to sprinters. If they pressed hard on the climb they could get ride of the sprinters very easily, and there is no descent for them to get back on.
