I looked at the profiles again and I'm more optimistic now. Madallena is a little monster and the first time they do it is at 50km from the finish, which is a perfect distance.
Also enough riders reasonably clsoe in GC for a Fuga BidoneVery narrow street, positioning will be key when there's still a rather large peloton.
yeah, especially in the flat, he'd probably need to escape with Landa only to really win it. Tomorrow could be a better chance for himBest chance for Bala in this Giro but at 42 I'm not so sure.
Even Almeida and Bilbao are faster these days.
Watch this be a fast stage so Cavendish gets like an hour time limit on a 3 hour 30 minute stage.Bol and Nizzolo will not start.
Same here. I can watch the first 1h 30min live and I will watch the the last 70km tonight without spoilers.I can't watch the vast parts of this stage and I struggle to decide if watching it tonight without spoilers or just watch the ending. I expect Carapaz to take pink. If UAE goes for a breakaway with their Italians Almeida should be vulnerable and Carapaz won't sleep on it.
Talked about it in some podcast.Wiggo is a lot more likeable now he isn't a cyclist anymore, takes things a bit less seriously.
