Tulett and Narvez take turns in the peloton. Swift will probably only have to work on the flat before Mortirolo.

Continue to invite Italian teams. But considering that other PT teams are a lot better I would prefer to see a more competitive focus instead.

ah, that's what you mean, I thought it was about the gap between WT and PT in general.

Who is better, though? Arkea decided not to come. Gazprom couldn't. And I don't think any Spanish or French team would be interested, or even have the depth to do two GTs. Uno X? Did they even apply?

The gap expanding at a fairly slow rate, the peloton pretty big, pacing with Mortirolo and the rest on their minds.

Would probably require a system change to reward GT results/participation. Right now it means they are missing out on opportunities to get results (score points) in smaller races. But I think given the opportunity a couple of teams have the strength to do more than one GT.

Cataldo is on a mission today. Putting most of his break companions in the painhouse.

A good moment for Trek. With the lack of cooperation in the break, it's good to punish the freeriders before the descent.

At least riders are trying to protect their top 10 spot on the gc by entering the breakaway and not by having their team chase behind...

Ciccone going for the mountain points. Bouwman wasn´t going as strong on the weekend. If they push the pace on the first climb he probably won´t get any points on the 2nd/3rd climb.

Spanish PT teams could do Giro-Vuelta double without depth problems, but they're not better than Italian PT teams.
